“I first met Vicki to chat about TAM over a coffee and she showed me her sketch book which was literally bursting at the seams with ideas – it was a masterpiece in itself! Her enthusiasm was addictive. I loved the script, it was beautifully dark, provocative with lots of moments of humour and I was delighted to be to be a part of it. It’s a tall order to take a piece of Burns like ‘Tam O’ Shanter’ and bring it into the present day but I think she does it brilliantly and hopefully it will encourage more people to explore his work. Filming Tam was a total joy, the cast and crew were hugely talented, absolutely lovely and to top it all Vicki makes a mean veggie chilli!”
